I'd be interested to know what their reasoning was.
The organisers wanted to place MINI out with the requested space alongside BMW. And alongside Other manufacturers We fought against it but eventually pulled out.
If you have access to the guys from Bmw who organize this please ask them to unlock the X6/5M.

I know!!! In person the Ford GT is jaw droopingly hot. The body lines are incredible. I only wish we could have gotten a peek inside.

I am considering going this weekend. I just hate going into the city. It can be so annoying.

Nice pics. I go to the Boston show every year. We don't get the heavy hitters like other cities. Was cool to see a Z/28 & a ZL1 at the last show.

I lived in NY all my life before moving to Vice City about 2 years ago and I loved going into NYC from Upstate NY. Driving in NYC can be a pain, however, it keeps you on your toes as you'll expect the unexpected . While taking the Metro North was easier as you'll never have to worry about parking, just the thrill of the drive on the way to the city was well worth it. I used to park at Pier 17 for $15 then subway it over. I wish I can go this year

I'm from Long Island, so it's super easy. I just hop on the LIRR and in 40 minutes I'm there. I just don't really enjoy the process. Sometimes I feel like its overrated, sometimes I feel like its the best place in the world.

Omg, whoever designed the new Maxima should be fired, along with the person who approved it.

I'm in Boston as well and can no longer go to the show here. A few years ago, we were in NY and caught the show that one time. No comparison. Ever since then, it's been an annual trip Easter w/e to go to NYIAS. Even this year, despite not being as many debuts, we still spent 3-4hrs there. My only regret is going on Sunday afternoon at 2pm. We usually go on a weekday, or the show's 1st Saturday and am in line when the doors open. This year was just too crowded, long lines for the outdoor Jeep & Camry rides. BMW & Mercedes areas overcrowded on top of the cars being locked. MB GLE up on a platform so not even touchable. Also couldn't get good pics due to the crowd.

With that said, I would still recommend going for the fun of it. Some manufacturers (Ford this year) gives monetary incentives for show attendees to test drive a vehicle at their local dealer. My 6yr old had a good time getting in and out of the different vehicles. Even though you may not be in the market right now, still nice to see which dash layout you may or may not like, who's doors feel cheap, which ones the wife the kids can easily get in and out of on their own, and which is easiest for the wife to reach into the trunk or rear cargo area. A few hrs at the show and then out to dinner is enough to wipe the kids out for the night.
