They're not winter's, just summer tyres that needed changing, and if your buying tyres you might as well change the wheels.

Non rft.

Who needs Xdrive when you can go sideways with almost no effort and all safety systems still switched on?!

I hate walking in the snow, but don't mind sliding in it.

My neighbor parked his 340i at the bottom of the hill. I gave him a lift up in my 335 xdrive after spoting him walking home still in his suit 😂.

Think its time I change to winters. Tyre fitter booked for tomorrow morning. Putting the 20” 404’s to bed getting the black 18” 405’s out.

I think they're M3/4 wheels so the offset is wrong??

No doubt if a wheel bearing/axle issue occurs BMW will avoid any warranty liability hehe.

I'd be pretty dissapoited if a 18,000 mile car has a wheel bearing/axle issue in the next 6 months when my warranty runs out. Also, they're real fake versions so better suited to the f30.

Ah so they're the correct offset?

Just I get this impression BMW are good at avoiding warranty on cars if anything even slightly related to a mod is touched.

Not a possibility with the right offset

I really like those wheels though, good job.
Now you just need another set with winters

Honestly though I found F1s a pretty good tyre in winter, vs cheaper brand summers like Falken for example which really were erring on dangerous in my experience.

Fronts are 19 x 8.5 ET38 and rears are 19 x 9.5 ET40. To be honest i was looking for a genuine set, but most of them are black which i'm not a fan of, and in need of a refurb. The costs just didn't seem worth it by the time i'd spent £1300 on the wheels + £300 on refurb + tyres. Then there was the question of how the refurbed wheels would last. These seem decent enough, and are slightly lighter than my 403m, we'll just have to see if they start corroding after 20 minutes.

The F1s seemed ok yesterday, not a winter tyre but they managed to get me out of the street

Skipraider, would you mind sharing where you got these and the price? I think you said these were replicas?

They do look fantastic against MG.

Seeing a 2 of my gen 442M’s (both rear) are corroding, I’m looking at decent replica options to swap on to the car immediately once they are replaced.

Also what tyre sizes are you running on them?

Thanks

I got them from Cm wheels, and tyres from tyre leader.

Tyre sizes are 245/35 on the front and 265/30 on the rear.
