After many sleepless nights and hassling the missus till she's absolutely sick of me talking about this Bimmer, I came up with this spec and finally ordered the car!!
328i M Sport Sapphire Black Individual Merino Leather Opal White Individual Ash Grain White trim Prof Sat Nav Ext Connectivity Adaptive M Suspension Bi-Xenon and washer Sunroof Guess how long the wait is.. 30 April 2013!! Now I need to start a thread titled "How to cope with waiting for the Bimmer of your dreams". I think I'm going to just go away and forget that I ever ordered a car, pretend this NEVER HAPPENED. |

Talk about Spoiler. You asked us to guess, then immediately tell us.
Anyway, why so long? I could NEVER wait so long for a car. No…….wait……1,2,3……oh, sorry, I too waited 7 months for my F30. Ah yes, those were the good old days. By the way, I was going to guess 30th April 2013.

We have been supporting one another through the forums rofl
I must admit I was logging on at least 10 times a day reading everything i could get my hands on. Gathered as many photos of the color I ordered. But it's alot better now with more M sports pictures around, boy they were scarse before |

I downloaded a copy of the F30 manual (USA version) thanks to one of the forum threads on this site. It's loaded and ready on iPad.
Somehow, reading it gives me a false sense of ownership... I can pretend that it's there in my garage and here I am reading the manual because I OWN the car. Why else would I have a copy of the manual right. Hopefully this will fool my brain into believing it for a while. |

Hello hello!
My car arrived while I was on vacation overseas. Yesterday, the second day after my return (and only because the dealer was closed by time I got to Melbourne Airport) we went to pick it up in the show room and WOW!! Despite knowing everything there is to know about the car and seeing many black M Sport on the road, it was the Individual Merino white leather than really really stood out as I've never ever seen it in real person - in fact neither did anybody who worked in the dealership! Well so here it is, couple of teaser photos for now. If you'd like to see more, let me know. |

Thanks KT. I will try and get some interior pictures up before the sun goes down and post them.
Just spent an hour cleaning and conditioning the leather. Believe it or not, the leather is already a little bit greyed (very very faint but still). Hopefully the Swissvax conditioner will manage to keep off some dirt or at least make it easier for me to clean it in the future. I almost think I should print off some pamphlet before people get into my car: 1) No beverages or food whatsoever 2) make sure you wash your hands thoroughly: or here's a hand sanitiser 3) No dark jeans allowed, take them off. you can keep your underwear on! |

Touche Touche!
You know when something epic that you've waited for SUUUUCh a long time but because the wait is so long and agonising that when you finally get what you want, you're a little bit meh about it? LoL. I mean i love it and totally happy with my choice/decision but I'm not as CRAZY excited as I imagined. |

Some pictures of the interior. This is the Merino White with Ashwood White trim.
I just LURVE the intricate stitching and piping details. The contrasting colour is a light brown. It is exquisite. See second picture. |

love the white on black contrast, i almost got the beige but at the end i have to stick with M sport boring Dakota Black, coz i have a dog and being a chauffer for the puppy is not a good idea of light colour leather. Can't educate them to wear hairless pants and shoes. :-)
Enjoy and will certainly share mine once it lands. The F31 EBII M Sport Touring |
