Actually, they offered me less, which is why this is a good deal for me. If they offered me that much I would not be listing it. Remember there is an 18 inch winter set included.

Check it out here... real world tests of 0-60 times. I've hear from a number of sources that BMW has been under posting the 0-60 times on the 335's so not to mess with their M sales.

why buy a RWD M3 when you can just put a chip on your AWD 335 MPE and get it up to 400hp?

I will admit. MAYBE I will miss AWD. I will see how the car performs with winters on.

lol...you`re funny. I drive the same car as you do right now.
The reason i didnt get an M3 when i got the 335 MPE is the AWD and transmission. You`ll see what i`m talking about when i say the tranny sucks.
Oh, and one more thing...when you were buying the 335 MPE, i was driving an F15 X5, that was double the price of the 335 MPE. You still think i`m upset because "i`m a 335 M wannabe?". Relax pussycat, if i want an M3 i`ll buy/lease it.
Sorry brother, but you dont have to be an ass just because somebody tells his opinion about a car that you`re planing to buy.
Cheers. Enjoy the M3.

If you find it so offensive why did you label YOURSELF a 335 M wannabe? Do you read what you write in your OWN profile? I actually found it quite funny. Take a chill pill man.

Just curious if the dealer is offering less then 40k to you why would anybody pay you 47k? I mean in all honestly you should just ask for a couple thousand above to cover the tax savings from dealer and anything above that is just gravy. I mean let say Dealer gives you 39k plus tax savings is 44k value for you towards your M3. List for 45k is pretty gravy right? Which is pretty reasonable given the market value of other 335is out there.

If not might as well just trade in.

Looks like the logical explanation is:

He has a set of 18" winter set included in his private sale asking. If trading in, I doubt he will give them to the dealers as the set can be sold next fall for about $2000 at least.
