Man, quality is really suffering.
I got a fancy box in the mail the other day from BMW. I thought it might be a nice BMW wallet or keychain..... It was my BMW Ultimate Benefits Card. What a let down. I would have been happy with the ten-sceond pen. |

We got one too. Seems like a nice gesture. Used it for 5 seconds and it still had ink. I'll try to save the last few seconds for writing something important! |

Perhaps call the service department for an appointment. It's a BMW, so may be it comes with a 4-year maintenance plan for ink refills. You never know!

That card was an embarrassment and joke. I threw mine out.

I agree, quality is lacking these days.
Albeit, I've been actually using my BMW pen for years and is one of the most comfortable pens I have in the office. |

When I picked up my 2014 335 m-sport I received a $50 gift card to the BMW Shop. Bought some neat m cuff links. They lasted 2 wearings and then completely disintegrated. If they build their cars the way they build their swag...

It's probably a faulty direct ink-jector

LOL. I got the same pen 6 months ago. Same thing happened to me. Still have the pen, but I have to shake it every time I want to use it. Sucks, because it looked like a really nice pen.

Boy, was I excited! I carefully unwrapped the box, savoring every minute. Inside was this elaborate folded box that looked so impressive. My heart was beginning to beat faster from anticipation. "What, oh what, could this be?!" I folded back the cover and there was this card. I removed it gingerly not wanting to damage it. After all, it might be something really important. I read the info, "WOW! I just got my BMW Ultimate Benefits Card!!", I thought. "What the hell is a 'BMW Ultimate Benefits Card'?" Turns out it's something I will never use. What a let down and waste. Yep, a three-minute pen would have been more appreciated. Maybe I could have found a refill for it at the store. |

Look guys, pens today have so much technology built in them, something is bound to happen. Even Japanese pens break down from time to time. Give the poor pen a break, eh?
