Wow the calipers came out awesome. Where’d you buy the paint?

When I got mine it had some worn universal carpet ones, looked proper ugly, had to change, why not oem then.

hope all is well.
Backup.....

How did you blow engine?
Out of nowhere I had lower engine knocking. Took it to Park Ave BMW and they confirmed my engine was blown. From how I don't know bought the car in December and my engine went dead in May.

Thanks! Pulled them off the car (fairly simple process that I'm sure you'd be able to find on these forums), then I used a somewhat rough microfiber towel with some 90% isopropyl alcohol (I'm sure 70% will work just fine) and started rubbing the snot out of it, starting at the corners and edges of the decal. I also tried Goo Gone, but found it wasn't any more effective and left an oily residue so I stuck with the rubbing alcohol. It's a vinyl covering, so the alcohol should have any negative affects, but for good measure, I wiped them down with an interior cleaner/conditioner.

It's a bit of a PITA and will probably take about 45-60 mins start to finish and your thumbs will likely be a bit sore from all the forceful rubbing, but I think it's a worthwhile project to clean up the interior look while not having to spend much money.

Good luck!

dipped my wheels today.

I plasti dipped my wheels. I wanted to see what black wheels looked like. I like the black but not the matte so much. I think I want to do the 437 wheels. thoughts?

I think black wheels satin or gloss look better when they are concave and car is lowered in my opinion. Also painted wheel will always look better than plastidip.
If you get the oem 437 it will definitely look better then stock. if you're getting the replicas, replicas aren't as concave as OEM (main reason i didn't want replicas because they dont have the "concaveness" as oem.) but still better than stocks.

Had a new battery installed (after 5.5 years on the original unit). And while I was waiting, I made a deal to trade my F30 for a 2015 F80 (Tanzanite over Silverstone) that had come in off lease.
