Remove red lip on M361 rims?

Hi

I have the Black with Red lip 361 forged wheels.

Any suggestions on the best way to remove the painted red lip?

Would plastidipping the whole wheel in black be a good cheap way to get it done?

you could do plastidip but that will be a worse finish than the OEM finish. You could always just mask over the rep with black vinyl stripe. Or you could have the wheels refinished.
