This was years ago...to change the drive belt of the 355, they should took the entire engine out - which costs a lot in the ferrari shops, especially with those rates for the work only. Also needed special oil (according to Ferrari), special spark plugs, took the engine out for the clutch replacement and so on. Drive belt 15 000 miles, clutch between 15 000 - 20 000 miles -> so REALLY expensive to maintain!!! The new F-cars are another thing. Since the F430 thing are better with regular services - oil, plugs and so on, only the clutch is a bit more pricey. The new cars with the Dual Clutch Transmissions are a way greater for everyday use and maintenance. The Cali and I think the 458 need oil change at 10 000 miles plus filters and thats it!!! First three or four services should be greatly under 1000$ may be high 500 or 600$, excluding brake pads and tires.
