Looking for a satnav firmware update

I see I should have posted in the E90 forums not here. I have reposted http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1147173 - please ignore & I apologise for the beginner's error.

Hi all. First post and a plea for help.

I have a 2010 320D Business with the CIC satnav & the 4x3 screeen. I would like proper postcode support. I have updated the maps (MOTION) to the 2015 version. Postcodes still don't work properly - a 6/7 digit postcode is accepted but points to the town centre.

Reading the thread at http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=955682 and the threads linked from there tells me sometimes updating the maps is enough and sometimes it needs a firmware update. It looks like I need the firmware. Both the local BMW dealer and an independent just tell me it can't be done.

So, can anyone recommend an expert who can sort out the firmware within sensible distance of Greater Manchester? TIA
