Ok installed....
I'll take some pics tomorrow: One thing I noticed is that my driver-side rear and my passenger-side front look higher... It could be my driveway... I'll take it out on the street and check. |

First impressions:
- Wow.. bumpy Compared to stock that is.. You definitely feel more on the road - There is pretty much zero body roll... It really puts tires to the test when you hit a corner hard. - The ride height is good.. If it settles a touch lower it'll be perfect. Shiv: Are you having an alignment done? |

Def get it done so it'll be in spec....CONGRATS!! Firm right? you'll uncover all sorts of fun rattles, but nothing a little felt tape can't handle....

Anyone know if this is a dealer only install? i.e. will my warranty be voided if I do it myself. The book says ~8 hrs labor, but that's ridiculous. Yes, it would probably take me 12, but I'm an idiot, they're the pros.
I swear, it seems every time I finish suspension work I promise myself I'll never do it again. And, every time I need suspension work I think it's worth the money to do it myself. |

If you do it yourself, or with an independent shop, BMW will warranty the parts for 2 years. If you have the Dealer do it, it will be warrantied for the full 4 years of the car. Question: Do you have Sport suspension now? If not, you will need the sway bars as well. The shop that did mine said the front sway bar is such a bitch to get it as they put it in an entirely different spot than the e90. |

I'll have (in 7 days) an m-sport. I see his point on the sway. Based on pics I saw it appeared as if you'd have to drop the steering rack just to get to it. |

I hate to beat a dead horse, but I was just researching springs for 328 using the spring table in the Aftersales portal and noticed a difference between the 328 and 335 front springs.
328 6MT - 31 33 6 860 628 <-- same as ?? 328 Auto - 31 33 6 860 629 <-- same as 335 manual Rears appear the same (33 53 6 860 620). To me this makes sense as the 335 is a 6-cylinder vs 4, which would be lighter. Assuming the auto is heavier than the manual, which I think is a safe assumption. I noticed something else that may have caused some confusion. If you select both M Sports Suspension *and* BMW Performance Suspension the tool breaks. You will see no springs. Maybe that's why the dealers were confused about springs? I'm probably not the first to find this, but maybe the OP should be updated to be clear that there may be spring variations on the 328. I don't know that everyone will read this whole thread....like I did for the last 2 hours |

It's odd, I have to take back again tmrw because it's not all gone...but regardless, it's worth it. The road's in the Northeast suck, so it's like mixing gas and fire when you drop a car that has a proclivity to rattle. #firstworldproblems.

Then again, I'm coming from stock suspension, so I can't say how much more stiff it is than regular "sport"... We can meet up at Aroma one of these days, and you can drive it bro... |
