Hi All. Here at LUX We have been doing some thinking about the new F30 sedan headlights and wondering how, if any to make the angel eyes better. We have been toying around with the idea for brighter / different color / or even color adjustable angel eyes. We would want to make something as inexpensive as possible while making something pretty incredible looking.

Just looking to get ideas from everyone what they might be looking for while still keeping the headlights 99% or 100% OEM. Changing the angel eye light source would be single and reversable for the future as well.

We hope to get some great feedback from people!

Abolutely interested. I'd probably go with body color over adjustable though.

Well for legal purposes there are only certain shades of white and amber that would be legal. Anything else would not be legal use use.

Clear lens mod on the projectors can change the color on the cut off. Making it more definitive and blue

Sorry but i dont quite understand what you mean by this. What is the Clear lens mod?

Stock LED Angel eyes on F30 are damn bright and white, so there really is not a lot of interest in changing if you have them. The only mod I've seen out there that I find interesting is remote controlled color adjustable LED's. Sure red angel eyes can get you pulled over, but what is the cop going to say when you make em back to white at the press of a button.

OK thanks for the feedback. Red would be illegal, however whites and amber are legal. What about the ability to adjust the lights from a 5000k - 12000/15000K Color?

You know what might be kind of cool, having them white while running and then when blinkers are activated they blink amber.

red for shows and white when driving around

Our company policy is that we will not sell a product that is illegal to use on the roads, so we will not offer anything that is red in color. We understand it might be nice for shows but we still would not want to offer that. We have a few ideas we are working on and hope to have some updates soon enough.

I always liked the yellower color of the e92's angel eyes. That's what I'd pay for.

I think if you can find out what kind of LED that's in the F30, and design a programmable RGB LED replacement of equal brightness, you will have a product that's money. It would require an additional controller module and perhaps an a RF or bluetooth remote. That said based on how the OEM part is designed it might be challenging to find a way to replace the LED's piratically.
