Muffler delete with OEM tips

I finally got the chance to do a muffler delete today! I noticed little to no drone, except for when I'm accelerating normally on local roads. I wanted to keep the OEM tips so I put the Y pipe on sideways. I've never seen this setup before so I thought I would share. Better pics and videos coming soon

Thanks bro. My car is completely stock other than the muffler delete. Down the road I might go catless but for now I'm extremely satisfied with the sound that I got from the muffler delete.
I notice the most crackles when I'm in sport+ or have DSC off.

Very interesting burbles you got there. Most of N20 with muffler delete alone didnt have these nice burbles.

Yeah it's kinda weird. Even before the muffler delete my car had burbles when revving in sport+ or dsc off, it just wasn't this loud. I can't complain tho because my car sounds catless

I'm not sure if BMW did anything differently with the F22 and F30, but my friend's 328i didn't have the same burbles as mine when we were both stock.

Did your tune include over rune/burbles as well or are burbles in the video are solely from muffler delete? Sorry if I missed that in your post, only saw you say it sounded nothing like videos on YT.

Did you tune as well? The burbles in the video are solely from muffler delete? Sorry if I missed that in your post

Other than the muffler delete, my car is completely stock. No tune, no catless dp or anything. I recorded all the videos with DSC off which gave me the most burbles

Nice video, also one point to check out:

I have my F30 muffler deleted, make it into ECO PRO mode and drive to RPM 2.5k, then let go of the gas, you will hear a lot of backfiring (IDK Why?)

I remember doing this exact thing it's cool it had to be made at the shop asked them to keep my stock tips by using a y pipe connected to mid pipe with a 3" pipe, might have to go back though and get the muffler back on because I'm going cattle's :/

Must be something in the F30 n26's that make the muffler delete drone like crazy, I couldnt stand it, after a month i ended up buying a stock exhaust and put it back on lol.

I dunno how it exactly is for op but for me I'm all good as long as I'm riding in sport, I can't deal with comfort and eco because of how low the rpm stay/get in that 2500 zone.
