ISTA on VMWare Macbook M3

Hi all, I normally run ISTA on an old computer with a dead battery. Wanted to know if I am able to run ISTA using VMWARE Player on my brand new M3Pro macbook pro. Does ISTA not work on VMWare?

yes, ista works in a VM.

I ended up buying a cheap windows laptop to solve this
