Well, I finally installed the new quad tip AWE exhaust system on my GF's 428i last week! Everything was a breeze to install with no welding required. The M-Sport bumper cutout came out perfect thanks to the custom 3D Printed template that i purchased along with the exhaust.

It sounds great, no droning, and it bypasses the exhaust 'modes' so it is always in 100% flow mode (the old sport mode). The cold-start is slightly louder theni would like, but once it settles down after 30 seconds or so it is fine... It looks really nice! I had a quick question... AWE doesn't have a product for Gran Coupe for 428i. Does this conversion work for Gran Coupe as well? If it doesn't, do you know
any companies that would have a quad outlet for Gran Coupe.

Wheels are on the car (from the little I've seen of the Video)...might hurt a little if the jack came down, but not life threatening. But yes, point taken...jack stands are a good ins. to have.

A few things made me cringe...one was the keys getting tossed on the trunk/glass a few times...also the nice shiny chrome tips dragging on the asphalt..I'd have a rag under them to prevent scratches . Kudos for tackling the project...I'd get as far as cutting the template so a shop could do the rest (and probably weld up the clamped pipes).

Would this mod void the warranty or any exhaust modifications for that matter?

Pieces he replaced would be just AWE warranty not manufacturer (BMW). Other than that, it's all good.
