Is there a way to know if I bought a tuned car?
I just recently purchased a 18 340i and noticed on the sport display shows this, I believe some tunes change this settings on it
Is there a way to know if it is tuned? Car does seem quicker than stock |

That display is available from the factory. I never really thought about but see what power figures that gives you at full throttle. If it's higher than factory figures by alittle its probably still fine. My old 2 series showed slightly higher numbers at the track.
That said, the definitive way is to get the computer checked. Not sure if it has to be done at the dealer, but personally wouldn't want the dealer investigating that, especially if it's under warranty. |

Honestly this is something you want to do before you buy the car.

Quickest way to check is do a WOT run and look at what the sport displays show. The car should be ~320/320 stock. Mine reports close to 450 with BM3 stage 2.
Djphonics does yours show that high? My 2016 340 wasn't that high on the sport displays until BM3 raise the maximum numbers on the displays. |

Those dials are the same as on my F30, which isn't tuned- if you're showing ~320bhp and ~330lb ft on a second/third gear WOT then it's stock.
