Hi all just need some help that you lot will probs be better than whoever I’ve spoken to !
Issue water damaged amp in boot took out got new one but when connect no sound and my 40amp fuse blows when I connect it all wires fine had them looked at but the new amp I got wasn’t exactly the same off

eBay model blown
BE B262 KARDON
Replacement Model
BE B200 KARDON

Both same connections and fits fine

Would that still work or should I BUY again direct replacement that was blown please please help me no music or phone Bluetooth for 7 weeks now

Did you get water leak fixed? It’s often the drains for the sunroof are clogged

Yeah it was my own error spilt my 2 litre water gym bottle over in boot and didn’t realise costly error any info on the above regarding the amps I’m at a loss ?? Thanks for the reply

This one I bought but wasn’t same exact amplifier and didn’t work

if you are willing to go aftermarket, you can buy match up amplifier, it's costly at $1000+, but you get a better amp

I’ve just paid 450 for the one that didn’t work ! and just paid 625pound for this new amplifier that is the same as the one I blew that will arrive soon

could've just bought a new one and have an audio shop install it for you, sometime intention to save money will end up cost you more than buying new.

take it as lesson learned to never buy used electronic. always buy new unless you have personally see it in person and confirm it works.

The one that didn’t work wasn’t the right part for my car and the new one I’ve got cover so if don’t work send it back bmw wait list was 4 months so hopefully all will be ok with the new one that arrives weekend I was just after some info

The replacement you purchased was for the X series SUVs

BMW doesn’t like it when ECUs are installed in a series they are not supposed to be in

Little update music now works but Bluetooth to phone works except I can hear them but they can’t hear me and says on dash SOS regarding phone any info ??
