So I have the F30 Facelift 2017 with complete LED Package.

So I live in germany and wanted to have the orange led corner sidemarkers on the LED headlights like the US models.

I don't understand why only the US F30 models have it but not the EU models....

I really want to know where I can buy the US Facelift LED Headlights for my F30 with the orange led corner sidemarkers.

Sometimes I see german dealerships that sell F30 models with the US Led headlights with the orange led corner sidemarkers and yes.. these cars are always imported from the US.

Sadly they don't want to swap the headlights of those cars with my headlights, even though my headlights are the same and completely new, except that I don't have the corner sidemarkers.

Anyone can help me out with anything ?

My side markers are also the turn signal bulb. If you have orange turn signals you may be able to code them to operate as side markers. Over here many owners do the opposite, they code the side markers to inactive.

I don't want to code my front turn signals to stay on. Also it's illegal here in germany. I want the original little corner led lights. Even the EU E90 Facelift models have it!

I don't understand why the EU F30 Facelift models don't have it.

I want to get them somewhere.

Ebay and Aliexpress to start your search. Then buy from someone reputable. Or is this not what you want to do?

The LCI headlights now have two amber LED elements: side marker on the...well...side, and the turn signal running across the top of the headlight assembly. Pre-LCI cars had a single bulb to use as both the side marker and turn signal.

US FMVSS #108

Side marker lamps have been required by FMVSS No. 108 since it was promulgated as one of the initial Federal Motor Vehicles Safety Standards in 1967.[1] The main purpose of side marker lamps is to indicate the overall length of the vehicle.

For some of us F3x LCI owners state-side, we code the side marker off. You might be able to do the opposite:

Disable driver-side amber side markers
FLE43/3006/LM_ID_LT04
Old value: Werte=04
New value: Werte=00
FLE43/3006/LM04_Name
Old value: Werte=0 D
New value: Werte=0 0


Disable pax-side amber side markers
FLE44/3006/LM_ID_LT04

So you mean I may have it but they are coded off ?
Because I think that EU Models of the F30 LCI don't even have the led bulbs to be coded on. 🤷🏻*♂️

I wish I could find a close up picture of how the bulbs look like when turned off because that would help me finding them on the internet but the 1. problem is that every seller is selling the headlights with photos that show everything unplugged and the 2. problem is that they only show a photo of the headlights from the front.
I need sellers/websites that show some valid photos like for example the ones that I attached here.

And yes, I have the normal Facelift LED Headlights with the turn signals running across the top of the headlights.

And in both attached pictures you can see two US Models of the F30 Facelift. I know that on those you can code it on or off because the most of them seem to have the led bulbs.

Are you a German resident or US? If it's an Europe spec why convert it to US spec unless you are bring the car back to America.

I live in germany as mentioned above. I want it because it looks cool. I had an E90 Facelift and it had it too. That's why I don't understand why the old 3-Series LCI models had it but the newer F30 LCI models don't have it in the EU.. that's stupid.

Hey did you ever get the lights working? I want to get my headlight to have the top turn signal on the headlight changed to always on currently I can only get the side markers on the headlights to stay on and can only get the mirror turn signals to always on I need the front headlight turn signal to always on
