Nice photochops! I test fitted V721 before going with the V705. Overall, I think the 721 suites the F30 body/style much more than other options out there. They will probably be the next setup on my car too, but in a different fitment & finish.
HEY! Yea, I am really glad ur car was there when I came down that day.. It helped me a lot to visualize fitment.. glad I didnt go with the ET33 on these 721s.. it would have been too much.. I just got them put on last saturday, and going to get the spacers on tomm. I got 7mm spacers for the rear but im a little worried cuz they look pretty stanced already! They should be ok.. I keep thinking of urs and you have a 5mm spacer and they are still tucked a bit.. Im not going as low as you, so I should be ok...

Your ride looks badass!!! I am in love with those rims. Of course mineral grey is just sexy.
Your mods are very tasteful with much aggression highlighted. Very cool.

Yeah, not sure how I feel about the tucked look, LOL. I had some 275's left over from my last setup, and no way I could use that on 9.5 ET33. Only option was 9.5 ET45 with some spacers.

Keep in mind my car was 9.5 ET40 w/275's, -1 camber. If it were raised a bit with zero camber, the fitment should be perfect. Next setup will be the 9.5 ET35 non-staggered w/235 & 255's... we'll see how it goes haha.

What tire sizes you going with? 9.5 ET38 looks like a pretty good fit with 265's from what I've seen.

Yea, Im just not at all a fan of the 'stretched' look.... so I knew I wanted some nice padding... my last set up on my A3 was V710s 19x8.5 all the way around with 235/35s... they were pretty good, better than the 225/35s I had on them before that... This time I went with 275/35 and 245/35. I LOVE the rear especially because they are more concave than the front... The rubber does stick out just a hair past the fender with the 7mm spacers... when I lower it if its a problem then I will change the spacers out... I dont really like to camber them so Ill prob zero them out with the coilovers.. but again im not going super low.. i usually keep the suspension super stiff and an occasional rub in the rear is not a big deal depending on where its rubbing... My A3 would rub over big dips, but just on the inside of the fender.... The front is where i worry more, because on canyon runs I dont want it rubbing and damaging the front fender...

Heres the set up I had on the A3:

Looking at those tires again, its amazing the difference between a 235/35 and a 245/35...

The 245/275 setup on the F30 works out really nicely. It's also nice knowing you've got a lot of tire between the wheel and the road.

Have any pics with the spacers installed or are you waiting for coilovers? I think Bilsteins are available by now, could be wrong though.

edit: Oh and I'm glad I saw that the sport trim can be added to a no-line car, I was just asking myself this question 30min ago!

I havent really taken pics yet since I got the wheels on... I am anxiously awaiting the COs. Ill try and take some pics and post them up here.. Bilstein has said 16-20 weeks for the PSS10s to get to the US market.. Ive been talking with them.. granted that was about a month ago, so Im hoping by May or June they will be available... I told them they could use my car to test fit the suspension but they already have an F30... dammit! haha.

Yea, the sport line trim can be added to our cars fairly easily... You wouldnt think BMW would actually make a different Bumper for each trim line, but they do... So some slight dremel mods are needed, but it looks good in the end..

Im getting the Bilstein PSS10s once they get to the US market.. I had them on my last car and I LOVE them... I was thinking about KWs, just because they are available right away, but they dont have the adjustment knob on the bottom of the shock where its easy to get to... And i dont like that.. Im pretty set on the Bilsteins.. I know and trust them..

Thanks, I am really happy with the rims.. I wasnt going to go with silver, but they ended up looking better than the matte black... They really pop!

**And thanks to VMR for helping set me up with them!**

Can you provide a little more detail on how you made the Sport Fog Light trim fit on your base model?

Thanks in advance.

It really wasnt that difficult... Just dremel down the area of the stock bumper that is in the way of the sport trim.. its just a matter of cutting a little at a time and fitting and re-cutting... not hard at all... took maybe an hour or two from start to finish..I didnt do a DIY write up.. but I need to removed the bumper again this weekend so Ill try and remember to take some pics and post them..

Great Improvements! I'm inspired.... I'm going to start of with the sport line bumper trim install. Can you please give more info on the dremel modding. As far I know you are the only one who has successfully done this.

Is it possible to dremel the trim pieces instead of the bumper?

Much appreciated!

Hey! Glad I was able to inspire you..

The sport trim pieces are a little tricky if you havent done much of this kind of thing before.. but Its very straight forward. You have to cut some of the bumper away.. unfortunately... there is no way around it. You also have to dremel off some of the tabs on the sport line pieces and do a little moding to those as well.. its basically just cutting and seeing if it fits, then cutting a little more.. until you get it to fit flush in there.. there are enough tabs that line up that you dont have to glue it in or anything like that.. although I am thinking about securing it with something else just for piece of mind... but mine have been on for months now and been through many car washes and have never come loose or anything... The biggest trick is making sure that you dont cut too much of the bumper away.. again, little bit at a time... I can take some pics for you if you want.. I am going to be taking the bumper off again this weekend to do a small mod so Ill try and remember to snap a few shots for you... PM me and remind me.

Here are some updated photos:

Front reflectors have been shaved

And rear tails tinted.. Im going to take care of those rear reflectors soon as well...

What do you mean "shaved"? Have you installed a color matched reflector? I don't see the seam that's why I'm asking.

Yea, there is no seam... the term 'shaved' means to get rid of them completely.. they were body shopped out... I think its a better/cleaner look than the color matched ones..

You went to a body shop and had it bondoed and color matched really? That must have cost a pretty penny.

The car in your signature is not your car.... that's confusing... but at least that what you aspire to have right..

What's your current offset ? did you put any spacers ? what are the values?

I have a guy that has done all my body work for years and he hooks me up.. he was fixing some stuff on my bumper as it was, so I just had him shave them for me while he was at it.. He does great work and he did the tails at the same time... He wants to shave the rear reflectors, but I dont know how that would look.. I think Im just going to have them painted the color of the car... dont know yet... Ive got other, more important mods at the moment.. haha
