I love it. The M sport looks so much better than the Luxury. Why did I go for a Luxury...anyone?

I don't have an opinion about having the M-badge. But I must say it looks way out of place where you put it. If you want one I would suggest putting it where the 335i is.

But it is your car, so don't listen to me!

Great looking car, ruined by the little M badge.
I don't want to have a go at you or anything, especially with the tasteful black kidneys, but in the UK especially, that M badge means "cunt".

Lose it and you have perfection!

You should also remove the M badge from your steering wheel, wheels, and door sills. Also if you have the M performance shifter or any other added parts, oh and thats an M performance black kidney grill that needs to be removed as well. It doesn't have the M but we all know its M performance.

The M badge anywhere else but the rear trunk/boot lid seems to be acceptable, but when placed anywhere near the 328/335 badging, well, it's like the cardinal sin for BMW enthusiasts.

It's like, "The badging that shall not be discussed".

Actually any exterior M badging on a non M car is frowned upon. This includes idiots who put it on the front grille, on the side, trunk, etc. M performance parts are different, since they are M inspired/a tribute to M power. However, if you put the M badge only found on M vehicles where your vehicle identification usually is (IE front grille, sides, and rear trunk), then it seems like you're claiming you are an M vehicle. It's like the difference between dressing like your favorite actor/actress, vs actually having your name on your ID be their name.

Exactly what I'm getting at! Those being obtuse saying to remove ALL M badges know the score really.

That little exterior badge says so much about the driver.

Why so defensive? You must have a M badge too on your trunk

Yes, and they also don't do it anymore for a reason. If every BMW out there had an M badge, what's the point of actually having an M?
