Dinan Shockware install failure/code

Anyone have any issues with the dealer installing Shockware?

I dropped my car of this morning and it threw a code and they are keeping my car overnight

Anyone else with shockware have any issues or mostly a clean install?

I take it that no one else has had issues.

Dinan apparently told the detailer that they have no idea what is going on.

Anyone else have a 2014 with Shockware?

Same here. They charged me for 1/2 an hour but said it took a lot longer. It was worth the wait, HUGE difference. Dinan Springs going on next week.

They never got my Shockware installed and had to remove it and they refunded my money. Apparently there is only two cars that have failed and I am one of them. Fun stuff.

I did get the springs on and the car looks great, but really feels about the same handling wise.

Bummer, do you mind sharing which dealer? Original quoted cost? I've been thinking about doing both the springs and software at Schomp (after my car arrives next week and I have a chance to drive it a bit).

I used Murray, and they did a good job. I guess there is just something unique about my car? They said they have flashed over a 100 cars and only two didn't take, so your probably ok.

I'll have to find the prices.

The handling feels the same? The Shockware tightened up the suspension, pitch & roll, no more bouncy nose and tighter steering. I'm surprised you don't feel any difference with the springs. Everyone else has said they made a big difference. I'm picking mine up next week, I'll let you know how it feels with the Shockware & Springs.

OP, same exact problem here. Threw a code, car would always jump back to comfort, keeping the car overnight to reset back to factory. It's been a few months since your problem but apparently Dinan hasn't resolved this. I was told the same story, that of the countless cars they've flashed with shockware mine is the first that's thrown this code. Very frustrating afternoon.
Has Dinan contacted you (or your dealership) with any solutions?

No. When i spoke to Dinan about it they had no interest in soliving it (I did get my money back after going back to stock). I was told that only one other car had issues and that there was nothing they could do since they couldn't recreate it (I assume they meant recreate it in California). I have called back and left voicemails since then and they haven't responded at all.

So far very unimpressed with Dinan as a company.

I assume no one had luck in this. It’s been 4 years since this thread started and my car isn’t working with shockware. Sitting at the dealer for another day to try again. Very disappointed.

I was reading on the Dinan shockware that in comfort mode the suspension feels like sport mode? Can someone confirm this?

That's the most accurate perspective reported by several forum members in lieu of engineering test results.
