What does the airvent do? Push air through it? For what? Cooling brakes which will fade anyway? Keep the car planted to the ground which is not enough aero anyway? Prevent overheating and limp mode? Which it will do anyway?

Came here expecting a 4-series coupe with the roof cut off. Leaving satisfied.

But...

Why no pic of it with the top up? That is always the weak point of all convertible designs and why are you messing up the first official images with a stupid bike mounted to the car?

I do like that the license plate seems to read "MiLF". I'm sure plenty of milfs will be tooling around in these on their way to yoga class.

I think some of you guys are reading too much into these pics. They were speculating over at Jalopnik that this might be leaked from an accessories catalog, not the actual press images.

They are genuine images from the official 4er Accessories and equipment catalog.

The first pictures of the new 4er Cabrio are imminent.
Prior to its World Premiere at the LA Autoshow and a few days later in Tokyo.

7) M badges dilute the brand.
8) You bet the 4 convertible will have front wheel drive
9) You've been here too long.
10) You don't like it but the "enthusiast" won't mind.

I agree with the second half of Point #5 and all of Point #9.

I'm sure you will be happier with your Audi or your Porsche.

Is this a done deal for the US market? I have a friend who was considering a 435i F33 with manual/M Sport, but the dealer was saying that it may not come to the US market w/manual due to the low take rate for 335i E93's w/manual. He may have to wait for the M4 convertible to get a manual-equipped drop-top - that is, if BMW doesn't F that up as well.

They're always pulling something like this, such as only offering new 328i F31 Touring with AWD only for our market - even the 328d, too.
