The Sport springs look great, Maz! Any close-up shots showing gap?

looks clean and nice bro. But for the roof wrap, I think it might look better if you wrap the sides too to match the black window

Very nice looking, mate.

But THIS would be the icing on the cake imo.

Thanks bud! For winter, I'd say go 18" as you're in Chicago.

Dont wait and do it now! If it snows a bit this year, you'll end up with small orange spots all over your white paint. White is not a good colour for winter so do the Opti-Coat ASAP and be happy!!!

Thanks bud! I wanted to go for Super Sport but with the kind of roads we have here, I'll be safer with the Sports. Plus I haven't done the alignment yet; the dealer said the car would end up lower after the alignment.

Thanks Robin!

Just trying to sort out the stupid shipping and brokerage fee's. We have nothing local so I'm gonna have to get this shipped to Canada. Let's see what happens...

Car looks great Maz!
Amazing how much more cohesive the car looks with the drop. The black rear spoiler looks pretty nice too. Look forward to seeing it on Saturday at the meet.

BTW I thought you got the tune after chatting & driving with Bananachipz at our last meet.

Thanks Derek!

I got my grills installed at BMW of Mississauga. They ordered it as soon as I ordered my car so I picked up my car with the grills on...

Thanks bud!

The tune is $400 and I can get it anytime but I'd rather wait for something that would give me more. I really like the JB but I rather get something a little more powerful and coupled with an Eisenmann exhaust...would sound much better.

I'm dealing with Bimmersport and they got some exciting plans for me!

Curious to see how the springs settle in, but the drop looks perfect imho and it doesn't look like there will be any rubbing issues (looking at the profile shots). Hopefully you can take me for a spin, i'd really like to see how the car rides with the h&r sport springs. On my e90 330xi, I found the Bilstein sport shocks/h&r sport springs combo almost borderline slammed and a bit unforgiving over bad roads.

In all honesty, installing the H&R Sport Springs has been my best decision so far. The ride is simply awesome! I cant believe I wasted three months before doing this.

The car handles 1000 times better than before and I really enjoy hitting sharp turns at high speeds. Great handling and overall a great ride.

Previously my car felt very heavy and a lot of body roll (Luxury Line issues) but now I truly feel my car is a sports car. Outstanding handling and a great feel of the road. Its not harsh at all, not bouncy either, just right! I really feel like I'm driving my E90 now.

The car is not too low nor is it too high...it sits amazingly nice!

I'm very happy with my decision. I believe I have the first lowered F30 in all of Canada?

I'm tentative for the meet but if I drop by, I'll take you for a spin for sure!

I just placed an order for Bilstein B14's. Should be here by the end of the week or early next week. I said before that I would wait but seeing your car lowered this morning made me do it first thing this morning at work!

LOL

Excellent decision! I'm probably going to go that route in the near future.

You'll love how your car handles once lowered. Good luck bud and cant wait for pics!!!

....and glad I can help!

Awesome car

could you do me favour and measure the front ground clearance? the AC schnitzer drop I had planned for mine is only another 10mm on the Msport I was hoping for 20mm (ie 30mm overall). The H&R supersports with the 30mm drop(ie 40mm overall) maybe too low for SA conditions

Sure, I'll do that for you. Roads in Canada are very bad too and I've been pretty fine so far. Shouldn't be an issue for you.

Yes I will. The whole reason behind getting a RWD is to enjoy the car in winter. It really only snows three of four days so nothing to worry about.

I ordered a set of 18" M5 Reps in Blizzaks LM60 which will be my best bet!
Rwd on the track or canyons. Even better than in snow.

thanks bru.

the roads arent so bad here, but we got big ass speed bumps and entrances to some places is on messed up angles. My old car with a 30mm drop used to touch everywhere but it was lower than the F30 to start with

Thanks bud!

I really wanted to get the M Sport Package but it wasn't released at that time and I needed to trade in my car badly...

I'm thinking of getting the package aftermarket but it's going to cost me roughly $5K and not sure if it's worth the price just for appearance enhancement...

Maybe trade-in my car?
