M3 Guy's 2013 Estoril Blue Msport Journal
Aloha Guys,
Figured I would post up a little journal of my car to document it's status at the various stages of it's build. For this car I'm not planning to do anything major, just a few key mods to bring out her inner character. Below is the order spec for the car and I will update this thread as parts begin to arrive. 2013 335i Msport
Update 03/01/13: Below is a list of current mods and where I got them from: EAS: 1. IND reflectors 2. Challenge catted downpipe 3. Meisterschaft full gtc exhaust system with wireless remote. 4. Challenge stainless steel brake lines Morr: 1. VS8.2's in hand brushed with gloss clear finish. 19 x 8.5 and 19 x 10. Tirerack: 1. Michelin Super Sports in 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 Turnermotorsports: 1. 12.5mm spacers for the front PSI: 1. BC Racing coilovers P3cars: 1. P3cars multifunction vent gauge Mod bargains: 1. No holes license plate holder 2. Injen intake Dealership (they beat tischer so give your local dealership a chance): 1. Mperformance BBK in yellow 2. Mperformance full aerokit, painted estoril blue and gloss black 3. Mperformance pedals 4. Mperformance gloss black kidney grills 5. OEM silver corner lights The Retrofit Source: 1. Wow, I can only imagine this is going to look like one hell of a car! Can't wait to see the finished product with those mods... Going to follow this thread for sure, I'm jealous already

Thanks! I have already change the build slightly to AST's new 4150 shocks. I did not know about them until Tom mentioned them in his email. I'm really liking the improvements they made based off of my readings. My favorite part about the new 4150's are that they are upgradable to 4250's. So my plan is rebound adjustable for the F30 and then depending if the shocks will work on the F80, upgrade to rebound/compression adjustable for the F80 M3. |

That's not a bad idea indeed. If you're looking to upgrade to the F30 in a few years anyways, you might indeed as well get parts that you can use on both the cars =)
Dangit, now both you and Michael are looking to get the F80... I cannot stay behind lol!

Can't wait to see this build! It will look awesome. I am so conservative on my F30. All is plan to do is M Performance Spoiler (Aftermarket replica if available) and M Performance Exhaust (depending on how the exhaust sounds). Then wait for my ED F80 M3. Hope it releases early 2014.
September/October is just around the corner!

Hahaha I know... I was not planning to do any modding at all.. so far I either changed the lights or they are on order to be changed soon.. looking into the wheels and probably a lowering, did coding, debadged it... It's all very minor but I promised myself not to do anything lol

Thanks, it's nice to see members from other forums here. Thought about a 5 series but I want to give the F30 a shot as I really want to jump into the next M3 sedan. If the kids fit in the F30 then it's a go when the F80 comes out.
Btw I'm really liking your e90 M. If I could have bought one new still, that's what I would be getting. |

Hmmm...maybe I should cancel my estoril msport. It'll look stale next to yours. And we're both in waikele. Nah, can't wait to see how it looks. Did you order your wheels yet? What are the specs?

Going with Morr VS8.2' in full brushed with gloss clear coat. Been in talks with Andy and am finalizing the order today. Super excited by this opportunity as I have always loved Morr's designs since they came out with their first one on the e46 M3 years ago. Do expect a photoshoot asap, plan to have the mods on the car within the first week of getting it. Hopefully the plan will work out... We should all roll out together to October's cars and coffee meet. It would be sick to have the F30's together. |
