Fabspeed Bypass...MPE 340...RPI...

Probably thinking about this more than I should be, but thought I should ask for some opinions.

Want my car louder, but don't want to go too far down the exhaust. Axleback for now, maybe a res delete in the future.

Narrowed it down to 3 choices.

MPE 340 - No warranty issues, subdued sound but louder than stock, but probably not as loud as other options.

RPI Axleback Exhaust - General consensus seems positive. Seems to be louder than stock, and great sounding. Most expensive of the 3.

Fabspeed Muffler Bypass - Basically a branded muffler delete. Probably the loudest and most aggressive of the 3. Drone could get annoying. But, would make a the biggest difference.

Leaning towards Fabspeed right now, but RPI and MPE aren't far behind.

No kittlyless DP.

Want to be able to install by myself. Sound is important. Don't really care about what my neighbors thinks, they're dogs shit all over the place and their berry tree is annoying as fuck.

Any thoughts on any of the exhausts above?

Not much quieter just deeper and more refined tone without inside cabin drone.

dont get the fancy "muffler bypass" if you care about your money and dont want drone.

the other two axle-backs are a good choice. I also recommend remus.

in all honesty... you want drone free sound right? I would simply get a catted (or catless, depending on how strict your emission testing is ) downpipe and call it a day. sounds good when you step on it, no drone while you cruise. I would suggest an ECU tune along with it too but the gains and sound will be great compared to just an axle-back and for similar money too.

Thanks Mike! Compared to Remus, would RPI bit more or less aggressive?

Thanks for info!

DP is a no go cuz emissions. Catted DP + install would cost close to axle back. Kittyless sounds nice, but still seemed a bit too quiet imo.

Will look into Remus

REMUS has a deeper tone

In terms of aggressive level they should be about the same just different sound.

for the same amount as an axle-back, you get much better power gains. it wont be loud, but it will sound GOOD. the engine's performance will be much better due to the quicker turbo spool etc... will turn your car into a different monster with the ecu tune.

but it wont be that loud. you'd have to get a remus axle-back in the future or something like that if you want a really loud exhaust. but a downpipe with ecu tune is easily worth the money compared to a catback just because of the gains alone.

a catted downpipe WILL pass emissions by the way.
