Hi,

My 2014 328i has the tech package and everything I see from the BMW North America site says my Samsung S4 will work with the car.

Here's how it works so far:

• When I connect by Bluetooth (very easy -- like any other Blue tooth connection), the car recognizes the phone as BOTH a phone (with its contact list and text messaging) and media device, but I have to choose which (and the two seem to be mutually exclusive).

• When I connect through the USB port in the center console, can't seem to get the phone to work as a phone, but I do get the calendar off of the phone and can use the connected drive app (which adds some apps).

What I really would like is to have the smartphone provide me it's phone, contact list, text messaging, and calendar.

Can anyone help?
