NAV Display Question
I've had a chance to use the NAV a little bit in the few weeks I've owned the car and notice what seems to be a rather glaring omission.
I can't see a way to display what street you're driving on. It just gives a few streets here and there on the map and then directions in the HUD when it's time to turn. The old NAV in my E46 displayed what street you were on along with the city you were in. So you'd think the newer version would give you at least that.

You can display street names in the spilt screen view by selecting current location

Okay, where is current location? I could only select that from the Interactive Map and then it was full screen only.

Split the screen and then select "Position" on the split screen.
It will show you what street/highway you are on. Guidance has to be active for this to show anything. |
