The forecast is better for this evening and the next few days.
I'll be going down to the West Beach this evening for some sunset shots (hopefully). Was at Spynie Loch last night hoping to get some shots of Osprey fishing, but no luck. Still it was a fine evening.

'Fine rain'........A good old North East Scotland quality, matched only by horizontal rain and the Haar
Remember it well from my time up there. Just struck me that maybe that is where the Grampian 'thats fine' (in the accent of course) phrase comes from. |

I had this on my F32 in the bottom left of the front screen, not the best thing ever but something, just got it made into a sticker locally.

Lucky sod !
I've never been lucky enough to get a shot of one on the estuary, although a friend of mine has some cracking shots of an osprey taking a big fish out of the river. There's usually a couple of herons fishing down there, and as they're quite big you can get some decent pics. Here's one just lifting off from the estuary that I quite like. Hope you enjoyed your trip up here.

Really enjoyed going to 'The Galley' again for a fish supper and white pudding on the side lol. The Heron was being bombed by what I think was a couple Terns while we were there. The Osprey looked like it grabbed a trout, so it's likely to be a regular around that area. |
