Lightbulb F32 435i M sport rotors fitment over parking brake issue

Hi guys,

any help would be greatly appreciated.

I recently bought a set of used m sport brake set off a m240i.
Front brake/rotors were installed with no issue.

However, the rear rotors will not fit over parking brake (with parking brake all the way down and the adjusting knob as loose as possible). See pictures attached.

The inner diameter of the new rotors are smaller than the original ones even though the total diamter is larger. Just wondering am I missing something or is this the wrong rotor even though it was an oem m sport rotor?

Thanks guys!

It's the wrong rotor. The part numbers should be stamped on them.

BINGO!

I had EXACTLY this problem a few weeks ago. Got the blue brembos off an F20 and it turns out the parking brake is bigger on the F30s.

You can go right ahead and ditch those rotors... Or try to sell them. This is the part number you need:

34206797607

Alternatively you can get them drilled:

34206797600

I got some dirt cheap vaico oem-quality rotors, under 100€ for the pair. They seem fine so far, we'll see how they hold up to abuse...

Front calipers and rotors definately WILL fil, but you need the correct sized rotor. Unless I'm mistaken, front rotor size for blue M Sport brembos is 340 in the F22 (and F3x)

Rear calliper will fit no problem, but you will need to buy 345 F30 rotors due to bigger parking brake.

Also if installing yourself don't forget to hit the inside of the bell of the rear rotors with some brake cleaner. I forgot to do this and my parking brake is now close to useless...

Front Rotor are 370mm or 340mm size for Blue M Sport. Depending on Engine type. Depending on US or Euro.
One really need to clarify.
Naturally front Blue calipers are also different units then. Either for 370mm or 340mm. Different part numbers, technically different mounting points.
