HUD Junction View

Are there any flaws from using coding, I.e could I cause damage to the car... I am abit of a computer and technological geek, however it daunts me to code a car 'myself'..

Since my car is going in a month or so, I could use it as a tester so am very tempted on trying it!

I know there is a comprehensive thread started by Teaston.. Which would probably my first place to start.

Got a balance on my PayPal account, anybody know of any new good cables on eBay for coding? TIA

I set this to active yesterday and works pretty well.
I'm on the latest I-step and map version if that matters.

Yes, but not worth it. You need the KAFAS camera (if you don't have it) and you have to pay for a very expensive code to enable the feature.

My Sept '14 car has junction view on it

Yeah speed limit display is another silly money addition IIRC, its not that cheap even as orderable option!!

£220 isn't that bad for an additional icon in the HUD and an upgraded camera IMO

Camera isn't upgraded, it's the same for HBA/VLD.

So now the PPK is fitted and lost all my coding, lost junction view too

I think I'll be having a dealer visit to get them to activate stuff.....

I might pay a visit to Sytner and say that my car did have JV and it went after they upgraded (albeit they upgraded on my request) - will get naff all I expect but no harm in trying.

Are you sure? I thought HBA worked with the more basic camera, but KAFAS2 came with SLI or VLD etc.

I have that colour HUD junction display as shown on my M5 (April 2104 build), it came with the 2015-2 maps and NBT i that my dealer updated on Friday.

It's only colour and perspective in view on the motorway though for me, goes back to monochrome orange and flat view on A roads/roundabouts etc...

Just picked up my '15 and the same happens to me - does this mean junction view is active (and just only available on certain roads (motorways)) or does it need to be coded and it'll show this on all roads?
