Cel while im on map2

Hey guys, i have a 340xi and have a jb4 and catless dp. Im having a cel light in the dash but im on map 2. Don't understand why. Any recommendations on what to do?

Yeah, chances are it’s the downpipe. For me any drive that’s about 25-35 miles straight triggers the CEL. It’s not a big deal though, jb4 Bluetooth/app allows you to clear it in seconds, very convenient.

Actually BMS jb4 officially doesnt recommend any Catless Downpipe on any B58 motor until flashTune available. It will cause terrible tune problems.

This isn't true from version 8 on forward. JB4 is now CARB compliant and cannot erase codes.

If you have version 7 or before, you can.

I’m on version 8 and I can erase codes. I think you are confusing “erasing cel codes’ with “not having the cel code come up period.”

Exactly!

With the jb4, no matter the version you have you can always erase the code. But with the old version 7, you were able to put the auto delete ON. which mean no code were appearing.

Glad in Canada we can still do it
