Will the same process for F30/32 etc apply for F12/13?

Ie could I use these instructions to code my 640d the same way you've coded your 3er because they're all F-series?

I've coded Sport+ mode, thanks for the detailed manual

I'm wondering now, is it possible to have DSC off in that mode? Right now it seems like only DTC is off

Does anyone know if it's possible to code the USB port in the glove box of the F30 to provide power to an attached USB device? I would dearly love to plug an Android phone into that port, leave it in the glove box and use the Bluetooth connection to stream music to the stereo.

I got an Amazon Fire phone (feh!) for $60 with a year of Prime (the latter was what I was really interested in) and T-Mobile has a promotion that makes the phone free for streaming music.

My main device is an iPhone and I use the armrest USB port to power and connect that device. I've tried rooting the Fire and all sorts of stuff, but my relatively old CIC system just hates the Fire. It recognizes it as a USB device but cannot see any files on it. I've even rooted the damn thing and installed CM11 and still zilch. It's lump of useless plastic in my F30 when connected via USB.

But, if I could power it from from the USB port in the glove box, I could just leave it in there all the time and stream via BT and not have to worry about taking it out and charging it. BT streaming from this stupid phone sorta, kinda works.

Appreciate any coding suggestions -- I can't believe the car has two USB ports and one is limited to music import/export, nav updates and software updates (which haven't been delivered for my car since 2013).

Hey, I'm new to this forum, but I just got my car back from the dealership and all of the coding that was done is gone as well. How do you get it back? I ordered a cable, but need some guidance on getting setup to start making the changes I want.
