2) You need an EST Token File, and the PIN that goes with it. Check inside the .RAR file for a file named "Code Away.est", and put it in C:\ESysData\e-sys est\Code Away.est. The PIN file should show it is 2690. 3) The number of ECU's varies based on your car's options, and some ECU's have multiple CAFD's, and some are not codeable, so they have no CAFD. My F10 has 34 ECU's and a total of 39 CAFD's (.NCD).

E-Sys 3.18.4 (although versions 3.20.0, 3.22.4, and 3.22.5 exist)
PSdZData 48.2 (although some dealers are already running 48.3)

Thinking of coding the inner brake lights to get them to light up under normal braking.
Just wondered what people's thoughts on this are? Anyone tried it yet? |

Based on a failed attempt to add newest 48.3 FEM_BODY CAFD to existing 48.2 PSdZData, it looks like some of the CAFD's need newer binaries (.dll, .jar., etc.), so I think using the full PSdZData is the wise move.

All I wouldn't be able to do is code whatever is in the 33 new files, some of which might not even apply to my F30, right? I'm still struggling to understand the relationship between the software level in the car, the level of PSdZData and the CAFD files.

How would you know what the dealer is using? I actually just took my car in recently for a programming recall and they programmed the fixed code in.
