Shifteck 4" Downpipe Owners

Anyone here with Shifteck 4" downpipes?

Just bought one and have heard mixed reviews about fitment. One person said his installer spent hours modifying the lip to make it fit while others said great fitment.

And in case it's not a perfect fit, would extra gaskets solve that or it's basically a no go?

Perfect fitment, whoever spent hours modifying it probably had no clue what they were doing.

No issues whatsoever on our 2015 435i.

Extra gaskets? No.

I had a harder time fitting Akropovic downpipes to my brothers M4.

But there are 2 of them to be fitted.

If you are worried about the potential fitment issues, consider a proven downpipe like the Evolution Racewerks.

Any downpipe can have potential install issues if the installer doesn't know what they're doing.

True but some downpipes are trickier to fit than others

My buddy spent 4 hours trying to fit the shiftek on his car with no luck. He junked the shiftek and bought the ER. We couldn't even get a response from shiftek to return them.

I have VRSF pipes on my M3, best bang for your buck and great quality. I'd go with those if you're looking for something in the $200 range.

Just picked up and installed a Shiftteck 4" from Ebay. fit and finish was fine.

Nice to hear, i'm getting one off a friend, used, 7k miles...

How much you paid and install was about $100 I guess?

Should be getting mine in about 2 weeks.
