EWG installed and gave me a drivetrain Malfunction NEED HELP!!

Just bought and installed EWG harness on to my Jb4 and at first start up I got a driveline malfunction on screen. Checked the EWG connections and all were firmly in place and connected. Running firware version N55_FSERIES_OBDII_EWG_9.hex
Any ideas what it could be? No wires or board made contact with the negative battery terminall
I also have the new ewg board and follewed the instructions of placting the blue fsb wire to positon 14 instead of 16 and purple on 9
Read the fault, clear it, and see if it comes back.
Attempted to clear codes 4 times in a row and managed to clear120408 Reduced power mode but the code 123702 Wastegate signal: Short to ground doesn't clear after multiple attempts
Will attempt to drive car for a few miles and rescan, should I do that?

Blue is supposed to go to 16 *unless you have the methanol kit with the newer EWG SPECIFIC board* then it'll go to 14

Purple to 9

You'll need a DB25 tool to remove it I believe

small screw and a nice hammer hit will take the pin off but be careful!!
don't try to pull the "Wire" it you will pull off the wire off the pin.

thats how the shop took my meth fsb pins off.

I'm not sure of the correct wire position, but similar to what M-terkait said, I just used needle nose pliers, grabbed the tip of the pin and pushed it backwards into the connector and it popped right out. NEVER pull the wire

I do have the newer ewg specific board but no methanol kit, do I still have to connect the blue wire to 16 instead of 14?

If you still haven't resold, send an email to BMS they will need pics of your current installation.

Great news guys that fixes the problem!! I have boost again!! Just another question, I'm running catless downpipes, intake, 30% e85, and I have flex fuel wires with the ewg wires now installed correctly. Which map should I be running? Should I do some pulls on Map 5 and auto tune? What should the pulls be like, 40-100 or? Thanks for your help again guys.

Good! Map 2 or 5,
If you run 5 do a few WOT pulls, or in other words floor it and led it redline a few times lol. So that it can adapt
