I stopped wearing my Breitling in the summer, didn't want to lose it on holiday & haven't put it back on since. Bought it in 2005 & had worn it just about eveyday since but i'm kind of not missing it now. If I need to know the time, I look at my phone, as I've probably done so for the last goodness knows how many years. I can get the Apple watch on a deal via Vitality (health insurance / app). Still can't see that I'd use it enough to feel its worth while & with age comes poor eyesight so I doubt I'd be able to read the screen before long |

That?s the one i?d go for, it?s out of stock on EE website though. Did you get it from the Apple store? They don?t appear to list it on their website.

I see, so do you buy the watch from Apple then ring EE to activate the data plan?

You can also buy an Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + 4G) from other retailers including Apple, Argos, John Lewis and Currys. If you’ve bought from another retailer and want to buy an EE data plan, first you’ll need to pair your Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + 4G) with the EE network on your iPhone. Once you've paired your watch to your iPhone, you can add a 30-day plan, which you can buy through the Apple Watch app on your iPhone. It’s free for six months with unlimited data, then 10GB a month for £5 a month. |

Mind you, I may well come under the Broncho definition of undateable these days My watch charger and phone charger share an adapter so it's no great hardship. |

Well I finally made the jump and bought one, and wow I’m impressed already! Despite reading countless reviews, there’s still ao many little things it does that I’ve discovered, it really is a special piece of technology!
I really love the astronomy watch face, very cool! |

Are you guys using the AW as a smart watch or a fitness watch primarily?
I have a Garmin at the moment which is a fitness watch with some smart features. Most reviews are saying the AW3 is a smart watch with some fitness features. I am interested in the 3rd party running stuff like Runmeter or Mapmyrun as the Apple app seems quite restrictive and then some of the golf apps. Anyone used them? Last time I tried an AW it was the series 1 and it was shite!

And with this cellular version being able to leave my phone at home when I run and still be able to make/take a phone call in an emergency or stream music (when it becomes available) or internet radio is a real added bonus. |

Still trying to decide if I get one does it mean to get the most out of it you need to wear it all day every day? My Omega would sit on the bed side table too much. I like the AW features but don?t like the inability to share with Strava for example.

I'll (will) use mine for exercise. I like the GPS and that I can get my music on it without my iPhone but I don't like not being able to use my offline Tidal stuff. If I was going to be honest it's probably too much for what I'm going to use it for but hey, it's stuff right?!

Also agree I feel a bit sad for my mechanical watches sitting on the side, but at least they’re avoiding damage from daily wear, and will feel more special when I put them on for meals and evenings out. Apparently Strava does upload everything the next time you come within range of your iphone: https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/...-Watch-App-iOS |
