F30 320i Eibach Prokit install

We recently installed an Eibach prokit to a new F30 320i Sport. This car sits very high and from the specs i believe our cars have a standard ride height higher than those from overseas. We actually lowered this car some 40mm (exact specs are at work) but it still doesn't look too low in my opinion. It sits right where i would expect a sport to sit. I also have a luxury F30 320d in at the moment and that sits so much different to this car. Overall i am very happy with the result.

Recently, Prestige & Performance have been doing a few Quaife installs on 1 series cars, and i suspect that they could handle an F30 install, if they had any questions, they could contact me and i could run them though it. The Eibachs are a very nice fit and straight forward to do. Prestige and Performance can be found here

Stop drooling Spikey, you already get a 10mm drop with the msport suspension

That 320i looks great, not over the top. That's pretty much how I'd like mine to look. Its a bit annoying how the sport line models in Aus come with the std suspension whereas the US models come with sport suspension. BMW must consider our roads poor.

Do eibach make springs model specific? I imagine a 335i will sit a lot lower on those same springs due to the extra weight?

The F30 335i Eibach Prokit is still in production and is a different kit than is available for 320i, 328i. I have a few cars lined up so when the kits become available i will get them installed and if the owners agree, i'll post images up with some specs.

No detailing yet, it is in pre delivery, the car has not been registered yet, we installed these on a brand new car.

dcg,

I think i'll just have to be happy with the 10mm... lol I was staring at my driveway this morning and I think I'll have a hard time getting in and out of my damn driveway if it's any lower............... freakign driveway dips down from the road then a masive incline up to the garage....

Thanks Andrew. Someone on ebay was selling ProKit springs for the 335i - going by the Eibach website though they still have a status of "in preperation". Contacted the seller and apparently it was a mistake and they expect them to be available in September.

Andrew has the F30 switched the rear suspension to a coilover type setup?
I had a customer's F10 at Pete's and it's a coilover type rear which adds a little bit of time to the install (of the Eibach springs), just wondering if that's the same case with the F30 as I haven't had a look underneath one yet...

The rears are straight forward, you don't need to remove the interior to install like the F10's

Can I ask how the ride is now with the new springs?

I love the lowered look but I don't want to sacrifice ride comfort for it.

The feedback so far is that the car rides really well and doesn't increase harshness.
