Welcome feedback: HRE FlowForm v OEM Wheels

All, thanks in advance for your feedback. I am looking for a new set of wheels, stronger than the OEM. I know HRE but am not familiar with their FlowForm line. Can anyone help me - are these much better than OEM, slightly, almost the same, etc? Any and all feedback appreciated.

Check out Aodhan wheels. I just picked up a brand new set yesterday. They use the same forging on their AFF line of wheels. I ordered AFF7 in bronze in 19” staggered. Use code SAVE20 to get 20% off.

Some stock wheels are cast, some are pressure cast, and a few are true forged. The HRE are rotary forged, what they call flow formed. Anything that comes out of HRE is better than anything stock, except the true forged used on some M cars that are manufactured by BBS (owned 50% by BMW

I've owned true forged HRE and Flow Formed HRE; they are both very high quality wheels.

Ain't BBS owned by South Korean NICE Group? Unfortunately BBS was recently filed for a bankruptcy; hope they survive

Technically the Quandt's own 49% and Nice owns the other 51%. They are indeed again in bankruptcy - third time I think. Debtor in Possession operations are relatively new in Germany; there isn't a direct comparison to our Chapter 11 or Chapter 13 reorganizations.
