your car looks great!

am thinking of doing the 10mm front and 12mm on the back. is the 10mm spacers from h&r centric spacers?

are you still happy with your set up or would you change any thing? when I first measured my car I was thinking 8mm front and 10mm back. but your car looks to be sitting well.

10mm is perfect in front. 15mm is a bit aggressive in back. H&R now makes a 13mm that works in rear.

Due to the hub lips design ECS, H&R, and other spacer manufactures do not suggest running less than a 13mm spacer on the rear of the F30. You can run a 10, 12, or 12.5 up front but not in the rear.

For rear spacers it is suggested to go with a 13mm and up spacer to avoid issues with the hub design.

H&R 10mm spacer are hubcentric.

Thanks so much for that info! Will see if I can find a dealer in the uk to supply them. Any idea what the bolt thread and pitch is?

The lug studs are going to be 14x1.25 threading and pitch.

Awesome GTI (they are more VW oriented but will typically work with our BMW customers as well) in the UK is a distributor of ours, they also carry H&R products.

I think that 12mm front/12mm-13mm-15mm rear looks perfect depending on your preferences. This thread was helpful.

13mm spacers for rear

I just installed H&R 13mm rear and 10mm front on a 2013 M-Sport line with 19" 403 OEM wheels and M performance brakes. The suspension is stock. The look is perfect for my taste. Pretty much flush with fenders.
I also installed a 75mm stud conversion kit from Motorsport Hardware (awesome outfit, great service and pricing from Ryan, highly recommend it) to make swapping between summers and winters easier and to get the longer studs needed to accommodate the spacers.

I'm running 10mm front/15mm rear on 19" 403s. I'm lowered on Bilsteins set to somewhere between H&R Sport and Super Sport height. Fitment is on point for the stance I was going for:

Much better than 15s in the rear. This is perfect!

I'm looking at HRs 10mm front, and 13mm back, what bolts would work with once at the back?

ECS provides 14x1.25x35mm with 10mm spacers , but I'm not sure which once would be correct with 13mm.

Running 18ins, btw

Thanks!

Most of my guys run 39mm wheel bolts with 12.5 or 13mm spacers on the F30.

Thanks James,
For ECS 15mm spacers you are recommending 14x1.25x43mm conical bolts.
Since I don't see 39mm, could I use 14x1.25x40mm ?

I want to make sure I have right hardware.
Initially I was leaning towards 15mm at the back, but don't what to look to aggressive.

You're still be good with 40s. Rule of thumb with wheel bolts is size of stock bolt + width of the spacer. That'll give you the 7 full turns (usually even more than 7) needed to safely secure the wheels to the hub.

I have H&R 10mm spacers up front and 13mm rear. I used 40mm wheel bolts up front and 43mm bolts in the rear. This is what was recommended to me by H&R and I've had no issues. I got 8 full turns on the fronts and 9 turns on the rears. BTW, ECS has (at least had) the best pricing on the H&R spacers and wheel bolts.
