TPMS Sensor error - need help
I was given a set of winter wheels with sensors from a 13' Z4. I assumed that the sensors would have been the same as my 14' F34. As soon as I star to drive I get a warning. The weird part is that in the service menu it still shows my wheels as all green like everything is ok and working. Maybe i need different sensors?

The sensors changed for 2014 model years and beyond. That's why you are getting an error. You need the correct sensors for your car.

If your car has a build safe of AFTER March 2014, you need new style VDO TPMS.
PS: PM Sent! I have a brand new set if you're interested. They're OEM BMW and they'll work with your F34. Asking $200 shipped. Let me know. |

I purchased a set of aftermarket tpms off of ebay for my f34 winters for $120. They work fine and register fine. I also have aftermarket tpms for my f34 summers that work fine and were like $100 at the time. You do not have to go with oe Bmw there is cheaper alternatives.
