ASD ?!!
I was checking youtube and came along this video, do I hear ASD in thiis video. please correct me I kinda like how it sounds and my car doesn't sound like this at all

That's exactly what it is. And it sounds great. I had a 2014 loaner while my 12' was in the shop. The sound was so much better. And it was amplified even more in Sport and Sport plus.

Gets annoying with time since you know its fake and coming from speakers. Its BMW saying our stock exhaust is dead quiet and the N20 engine sounds like a diesel so lets fool our customers with fake sound.
The BMW M Performance exhaust should of came equipped in all cars and not as an option since it's only purpose is better sound and nothing in performance. Should have been called BMW M Sounding exhaust. But all in all, we are all suckers including myself and went to buy the M "Performance" Exhaust for better sound. |

Sounds pretty good to me. I'm not sure why so many people hate it. As the interior of the cabin gets quieter and engines gets smaller, it's only a matter of time till more and more manufacturers do the same.
I remember when people complained about push button start and I don't see that complaint anymore. |
