Plasti-dipped wheels and grill
A year ago I would not have believed that I'd ever modify a car I bought, let alone do it myself. Then I realized that all the cars I saw and liked on the road had probably been modified at least in some way, like non-stock wheels or a slight drop. So I decided to Plasti-dip my wheels and grill. That's probably as far as I'll go.
I took the wheels off to get the inside and outside. For those who have left the wheels on and dipped only the outside rim and spokes, can you see the undipped interior easily or does it even matter? (if and when I need to do a touch-up or re-dip, I'd just as soon not take the wheels off if it's all the same). Here's the finished product. |

Looks great! Good work. Plastidip can go so terribly wrong if applied incorrectly. I hope it looks as good in person as it does in these photos!

Looks great man! Some questions if you don't mind...those are 19" right and how do clean them now. Also have a red one and thinking of dipping the grilled and wheels.

No, these are just the stock 18'' 400M wheels. I actually haven't had occasion to wash them yet, but I'm guessing a little soap and water will do the trick. They're still going to get dirty, but the black will hide it a bit better. I imagine just a sponge and some elbow grease will clean them right up.
