Thats the value of your US dollar plummeting thanks to fiat currency and inflation.

3. Sun-shade option? YES

4. Standard sonar parking assist? OPTION

5. Official EPA? OFFICIAL RATING NOT YET RELEASED

6. Wood trim won't be standard on the 328 like it has been? DEPENDS ON PACKAGE (SPORT, MODERN, LUXURY TRIM)

7. Value package still available? NO LONGER AVAILABLE, ADDED TO STANDARD EQUIPMENT

8. PLZ PLZ PLZ, BMW, fix your GPS. I live nearby NYC and I have driven a 3 and X5 for a long time, both generations of Navigation systems: the current and the previous one. And trust me, a 100 Tomtom worked better for me. BMW GPS cannot pinpoint any address on a highway. For instance, if I am looking for 1750 US.1, then after typing in US.1, the house number region turns gray and you are unable to access this option? what is the point?? The Lexus nav, although as much lower resolution and looks kind of cartoonish, works every single time. I hope they have updated their system.

BMW WILL RELEASE PERIODIC UPDATES.

9. Bluetooth audio streaming? YES WITH THE NEW ENHANCED BLUETOOTH

10. What if I don't get the premium or any package, will I still get power seat? NO, MANUAL SEATS

But overall, f30 is a worth the waiting!
IMO, YES UNLESS YOU WANT TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ALL THE DISCOUNTS ON THE REMAINING 11'S

LOOK ABOVE FOR ANSWERS.

Absolutely not. BMW is wed to the stupid runflats. It allows for a cheaper build and a slightly lighter car, marginally helping fuel efficiency.

2. Will Halo rings be day-light running lights for both 328 & 335?

ACTIVE CRUISE WITH STOP & GO NOT AVAILABLE ON 3 SERIES.

NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE NEW STANDARD AUTO START/STOP ENGINE FEATURE THAT WILL TEMPORARILY KILL THE MOTOR TO SAVE FUEL.

ON KEYS WITHOUT COMFORT ACCESS, YOU CHARGE THE KEY WITH THE KEY SYMBOL ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF STEERING COLUMN. THE NEW KEY DESIGN DOESN'T USE A BATTERY ANYMORE

It's a replaceable standard battery. When it gets low you put in a new one.

MPG

The documentation on the BMW website appears to indicate that the new 328i will achieve approximately 28 MPG urban (city), 37 MPG combined, and 45 MPG Extra-urban (highway) (when converted from liters\100 km to MPG (US).

(see http://www.bmw.com/com/en/newvehicle...ata/index.html)

Am I misreading this? The numbers are pretty increadible.

Thanks.

That's incorrect, those numbers are for the 328i (there is a drop down menu on the right, and you can adjust the vehicle engine to see the different specs).

Does anyone know how Euro specs differ from US specs? I did convert the liters\100km to US MPG (not imperial)...

Thanks.

Strange q from me; Does the European version have amber sidemarker-lights integrated in the headlights like the E90LCI?

This conversion doesn't work, not due to different specs but due to different emission test standards. So we'll have to wait for the official figures from BMW NA.

Surprised at all the shallow questions... well maybe I'm not.

Anyway...

What is the percentage increase of torsional rigidity over outgoing models for the coupe, sedan, and convertible?

How has this increase been met? Use of ultra high-strength (as opposed to high-strength) exotic steels as seen in the new C-Class, E-Class, Mitsubishi Galant, or even the new 5-Series?

Is there an increased use of aluminum in the suspension?

Has unsprung weight been reduced?

What new passive safety features have been implemented?

Has the coefficient of drag been reduced? If so, by how much?

Has wind noise been reduced?

Has center of gravity been lowered?

Are the brakes carryovers or will multi-piston calipers be carried over?

Are there any changes to the rear subframe design, if so what and why?

Lets learn about the core of the car and its engineering evolution rather than obsess over whether or not you can stream bluetooth audio.

Those are the same numbers I came up with. I'm glad I'm not crazy, or we both suck at math lol

You don't. Just like with comfort access today, the fob battery is not rechargeable and must be replaced when it dies. Today's cars without comfort access do have a rechargeable battery, but since there will no longer be an ignition slot for the key at all, that feature will go away.

(BTW, just in case anyone thinks the above is incorrect, please, I beg you, just google first, ok?)

South,

Regarding MSport - what interior options will there be?

I know we've already seen the blue interior. But, will M Sport be similar to the Sport Line, except whereas with that line the interior options carry the red theme, M Sport will carry the blue theme? I.e. blue stitching on the seats, door, and wheel, even when you order Black leather?
