///M Performance words display on cockpit screen

Anyone has the colour words, ///M Performance, display on your cockpit display screen?

Is it only exclusive to F30 M performance model ?

Check the coding thread, you need to have certain options like the upgraded screen to activate.

It can be easily coded, but you have to have the extended cluster that usually only comes with the tech package.

The extended display is code 6WA. You can go to www.bmwvin.com to see all of the code for your car.

The logo shows on the instrument cluster and on the HUD, but not on the main (big) iDrive screen.

I asked Arthem about the //M Performance, he is yet to test it out, so its probably not safe for now ~

lol, its perfectly safe. Its a single option to change a logo, there's only so much testing possible.

You need a recent software version. I changed mine after the dealer did the FEM campaign update.

Checked. I do have S6WAA - Instrument cluster, expanded equipment. Does it mean that I can have that logo display on my cockpit screen? If can, how to go about it?

Thanks once again.

Cheers,😉

Change KOMBI / 3000 / BMW_LOGO from ag to mpm.

Simple, easy, and fun!

You'll have to reset the time as the cluster is rebooted.

Is there any steps? Any impact to the machine system?
And what do I need in order to perform the step?

Thanks

Cheers,
Take a look at the coding forum; all of what you need is there. If you don't want to do the coding yourself, you can try to find someone in you area that will be willing to do it for you.

Kon is very active on that forum and is very knowledgeable. He's from Singapore too. You might want to reach out to him.

I've assumed there's a typo, at gW, you can power a F3000 rocket

Sorry, the original 1.21 gW post was meant as a joking reference to a movie, Back to the Future. If you haven't seen it, rent it!
