another thing. i still hate the window switches on the door for the front occupants. The center was perfect on the e46. on my E90, they are waaaay to far forward on the door to reach comfortably

Still think the e90 looks better from the front because of that awful hood line, and the f30 msprot rear is not nearly as nice a the e90. Thats just my opnion though

Awesome pictures! F30 wins, yet both cars look great.

I'll take my e90 with the bells and whistles of the F30...
Things I love more on the e90 - LED turn signals, rear m-sport bumper, fog lights, interior iDrive design, PPK, and rims. What I'll take from the F-30 - HUD, Top view/rear cameras, comfort access, front fascia design. |

Overall the F30 is a better package but the front end looks weird to me in some angles, especially in real life. I had one in my rear view mirror and I didn't like it the way I did in photos. If I had an F30 I would address the front end right away but I imagine the LCI version will fix this up.

Due to the low front end of the F30, I actually prefer the sport line over the M sport.
The advantage of the M Sport gets more and more muted the closer to the ground the front end gets.

TY for the comparo.
I can see now there is no reason for me to replace my E92 with an F30. I had been mildly toying with the idea of doing it, but now I know I won't. The interiors are different, but that's it....they are just different. Performance-wise, I don't have the skills to get any more benefit from whatever the newer car might have to offer.

It's not as though some paradigm shifting, must-have features (e.g. anti-lock brakes, a/c, or airbags) or styling have come about. In comparison, the transition from E46 to E90 was a huge difference: totally different styling, new motor, greater size, etc.

Thanks for the pics.
Now it's time for another test drive at T&C. Took the 335 sport edition out in the summer, anxious to drive the x-drive and compare.

Nice. I do tend to favor the black interior door handles on the E90 and the Idrive set-up on the E90 (..because it shields the screen from sunlight), but overall the F30 is a bit more appealing.
