Funny how everyone thought active steering was lame before but now it's fine?

Seems like all the review cars come with active steering, but no one seems to really mind...

Sorry, but it's still lame.

Motor Trend:

The effort and heft feel natural enough, but on these smooth, dry roads it transmits no wiggles or twitches to suggest subtle variation in the grip level of the road surface, and the ratio transition feels unnatural in the tightest corners.
Automobile Magazine:

In either mode, however, the variable sport steering provided a little too variable over the fast switchbacks, providing more lock than we thought we’d asked for. Overall, though, it’s nowhere near as weird as BMW’s active steering (which it replaces), but we’d still skip it.

Pretty sure you get electric assisted steering instead of hydraulic standard, there is an optional variable ratio steering
