I know all these performance figures are a lot of pub talk , but was just watching this video and comparing the OP's performance stats with the ones from this video. Frankly, I think the 335d is astonishing compared to these two that have more power and less weight. And one has 4WD too!!!

Just remind you of the OP 335d stats:

And if you cant be bothered to watch the video:

BMW 1M
0-60 in 4.7s
0-100 in 11.1s
Quarter mile in 13.9s

Audi RS3
0-60 in 4.4s
0-100 in 11.7s
Quarter mile in 13.6s

As I say, all a bit of fun really ... shame the 335d wouldn't be able to keep up with them around the twisties.

In the Chris Harris video the RS3 gets 4.17 & 10.73.. depends where you get your figures from.

Figures I found on www.automobile-catalog.com are different than those in this thread and also worse than official BMW. It shows 5.2s to 100km/h. Fuel consumption is also a bit different and much worse than official however I don't really believe it. The lowest I achieved so far was 44mpg and it was on a long run on almost empty French motorway on cruise control driving about 80-85mph. The lowest consumption so far was about 33 mpg including town driving, some motorways and B roads.

I think those figures are all simulations so whether they take into account 4WD, launch control and the 8 speed snappy ZF gearbox, who knows.
