Too early for pre winter prep?

No idea where summer has gone this year! Maybe it’s just living in Scotland that makes you think that.

Had some spare time today, so gave cars wash and polish. When I was finishing them off, wondered if this would be the last before winter comes!

Rubber mats and winter tyres will be on before we know it!

Depends what you mean by winter prep?

Way too early for winter tyres though. I always leave a warm coat and gloves in the car anyway.

Just mean car body and window polish. I find that having a good polish makes cleaning over the winter a lot easier. I use Auto Glym glass polish and I have found it speeds up the defrosting in the morning!

Sealed winter wheels too. Had time on my hands as my boy is away for his first Beavers camp. He is coping better than me.......

I gave my wife’s 3 series a full decon and coating of fk1000p last weekend in prep for winter. Prob do it again now over the Xmas break. I have a cosy garage so winter waxing is easier.

I’m gonna go for a sealant (Sonax NPT) tomorrow on my Range Rover after a full decon.

Winter prep for me is turning the aircon up to 20 degrees. Sometimes 20.5.

Had the season's first ice warning 'bong' when I started up yesterday morning, suppose that's my 'winter prep' alert.

Guess mine needs a good coat of 'wax', ready for the real winter weather.
