I can't express how happy I am with the custom exhaust I have with VRSF catless DP. It's a muffler delete with Vibrant Performance resonators welded in place. Parts will cost you about $300 depending on what tips you pick. My shop charged me $400 for fabrication and installation (so about $700 out the door) but I'v seen other users say they paid as low as $250.

If I wanted to spend more I would go with catless DP and Borla ATAK but that would be about $1700

The burbles are best achieved with mppk or aftermarket flash. You can turn the burbles on and off with the drive mode selector.

I enjoy my MPE and test pipe. I have gotten a few compliments from random folks on the street and my neighbors call me the guy with the loud blue BMW :-D

On my 2013 335xi I have a ACTless DPp and I had Dual aFe Power Mach Force Mufflers installed, it was louder but not much for pops & burbles. Then I did a resonator Delete and now I have massive Pops when downshifting & Burbles between upshifts.

I was in a similar situation. Here's my write up on it: http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1459221

I get a good bit pops and burbles when in sport mode (valve open). Only had it on for a couple of days though.

I am running the Active Autowerke performance exhaust and really enjoy the difference it brought from stock! I haven't run the others, and I am sure they are great so I cant give a 1:1 comparison, but the AA product is fantastic to me!

I have a full install video in my channel linked in my sig.

$528 is the muffler price, then you select what tip you want and it will update accordingly.
I will send you a pm for both

I am a big fan of stock exhaust with catless downpipes..

If committed to an exhaust the AWE is a great setup.

I’d sell my pretty much brand new AWE catback with Performance Midpipe for $1800. It’s the version with 102mm diamond black tips.
