Thanks for the messages everyone. I was in Europe on holiday driving my E90 320 rental from Sixt. Just a bit of a power difference getting into the 335 upon my return.

There seems to be a number of new 2015 MPerformance Editions arriving as the dealership in Calgary is showing new inventory. The delay at the port in Halifax to install the M Perf parts must be why they are arriving after the 2016's have arrived.

great color!!

hey. I see you you have that special grey black paint... how is the maintenance
on it... anything like a black? I have a choice between that and the grey.

It is a little more forgiving than a black to keep looking good. Water spots are of course an issue as with any other darker colour. Nothing like a frozen colour however.

It is my understanding that no mods are done in Halifax, on delivery in Canada from Germany, for Canadian cars. All cars for Canada are setup in Germany before being shipped. This is different than in the USA, where many mods are done after the car gets off the ship.

My dealer told me that BMWCA had a contract with the port to do all of the MPerformance modifications. The cars were built on the 18" winters for example and the summers were shipped to the dealerships directly. My build sheet from Bimmer.work confirms that information.

I was told that the port was unable to complete all of the modifications to all of the cars in a timely manner and the cars were recently shipped to the dealers where the modifications were completed. It was a first class sh*t show as some of the cars sat in Halifax for almost 6 months.

When i was purchasing my car, they told me it was at the Halifax port getting the M-Performance parts put on there. They said that it was built, shipped to Halifax and then when it arrived at the port they installed the parts.

It also had the 18" winters on it but the 20" summers were actually with the car and not shipped separately.
