FL Question
dday, thanks for sharing. Great car! I am from FL and noticed your shout out to Lauderdale BMW. Why did you use them if you are in MA? Did they give you a good deal?

AMAZING post! I tried to capture videos like this on my trip but totally failed. It's harder than it looks when you've got all of that other fun stuff going on.
Gorgeous car and the performance center is so awesome. Enjoy! |

I think the 6MT is better in my 435i than in my wifes F30 320i and my old 128i. It feels perfect. |

Great summary... thanks for posting!!! Congratulations on you new car... it is gorgeous! Your writeup helped me relive our fantastic PCD experience last August. Paul was one of our instructors as well, and Justin was our CA. Both of them (along with Andy Van Cleefe) did a great job and certainly contributed to our enjoyment of the overall experience. I've got video of my wife hitting the braking area of the emergency braking maneuver at 60+ mph... she ended up stopped with the front right wheel off the tarmac but Andy took it in stride and everyone had a great time.
I think it goes without saying that if you can swing it, sign up for PCD experience!

Congratulations, the car is beautiful. I absolutely love it. I would of ordered it the EXACT same way. I have an alpine white 135i MSport with a six speed manual transmision and black leather interior. I guess you could say we have similar taste. I'm waiting for the new M235i to be released before making my next move. Not sure if the 2 or 4 series will be my next Bimmer.

Great-looking car! One of my friends is getting one just like it, but RWD only.
The best accessory you can buy for your interior are some Sisal mats from Cocomats.com. I got a set in black for my Alpine White/Black Interior E90 M Sport and have been very please with them. They have a rubber backing and are very heavy and durable compared to the crappy BMW carpet mats. Buy them here: http://www.cocomats.com/ Here are some in a 335i coupe: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ighlight=sisal Great product.

Congrats - LED lights flickering in the video?
Awesome car. What's the led flickering in the video where the car is being moved outside. I thought it was a video framerate thing but the flickering stops as soon as the car is outside and the auto headlamps turn off.

I know some people there, plus customer service is just really good. with PCD I don't need a local dealer so it worked out well.

I'll try and answer the question as best I can. Style The 435 in m-sport trim is far more striking. It feels like you're getting into something much more special than the e9x 335. While that doesn't impact driving experience directly it does change your mindset just a little. Interior While the new interior is is still up for debate I love it and find it's a nicer place to be and feels more premium Fun Factor The car is most certainly more planted than my 335, with the cold weather I haven't been able to push it around the corners like I'd want to but even it the limited time I've had it there's an extra level of confidence with the car. Comfort The new generation run flats drive so much better. One thing is this car is quiet. I actually wish you could hear more with the windows up, but that's a small nit. Windows down it sounds great. Overall it feels like a true upgrade from my 3-series vs just a coupe version of my old car. |
